A note about Bible Translations

We could easily fill this entire website with arguments about the various Bible translations, but that is not the purpose of this blog. Yes, people can be very passionate about which translation they read, which is the best, which are heresy, etc.

While we personally hold many views about translations that would fall in those categories, we've decided to keep the scripture used on this site practical. That means that we will often quote from different translations based on what we feel is easiest to understand in the context of the article we are writing. We do this very carefully; recognizing we must always hold true to the original intent of the scripture.

For in-depth Bible Study, we primarily use either the New American Standard-Updated version or the English Standard Version. However, looking at multiple translations when studying scripture can be very beneficial, which is why we both use the Tecarta Bible app.
